Theme for 2017
After October, Booktalks end, and resume in April 2018 on the 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Leever Room.
Join the Spring-through-Fall Booktalk Series where thoughtful readers meet to discuss selected books at the library. Use the online form below or call the library to register so we can order copies of the books for all participants. Books suggestions for group discussion are always welcome.
For October, readers will share in a discussion of novels, stories, essays and a memoir by Barbara Kingsolver. The author's education as a biologist, her experience living in Appalachia and Arizona, and her political and social concerns are all reflected in her works.
"...literature is more like conversation raising new questions and moving you to answer them for yourself.” BARBARA KINGSOLVER
