Park, Museum and Aquarium Day Passes

Passes with free or reduced entry rates are available at the library for the Connecticut facilities listed below. Read the additional guidelines on the pass and check the websites for complete visitor information.

·         Any adult with a valid Connecticut library card can borrow a
          pass for a two-day period.
·         No extensions of the loan time will be allowed.
·         Passes may be returned in the book drop if placed in an envelope.

CT State Parks and Forests
Enjoy Connecticut’s many natural wonders. Valid at Connecticut state parks, beaches and forest recreation areas.

Day Pass allows free entrance of a private passenger vehicle carrying fewer than 12 people. Also covers the parking fee at the four state beaches on Long Island Sound as well as several inland parks.

Also good for admission of 2 adults and 4 children at historical sites and exhibit centers at Dinosaur State Park, Fort Trumbull State Park, and Gillette Castle State Park. For listing of programs in the state parks and forests, visit www.ct.gov

​The Old State House in Hartford, Connecticut is generally believed to have been designed by noted American architect Charles Bulfinch as his first public building. The State House is currently managed by the Office of Legislative Management of the Connecticut General Assembly.
