Please welcome our new Library Director, Deirdre Johnson
Hello, everyone!
I am very excited to introduce myself as the new Director of the Bethlehem Library! I loved the library as a young girl; it was always so welcoming and well organized, filled with great books, friendly people, and fun things to do.
When I left Bethlehem as a young adult to learn and travel, libraries were always central to my life. As a student and a professional, I have worked in academic libraries, museum libraries, archives, and public libraries. All of these experiences have been wonderful, and I am excited to bring the knowledge I have gained back to Bethlehem.
I hope to see everyone at the July 4th Town Parade, at which I will be dressed as Ms. Frizzle. And if not there, I will definitely see you in the library soon!
