EXHIBIT IN THE LEEVER ROOM
"North by Northwest"
A Photographic Journey
Barbara, a physical therapist, and Gail, a retired teacher, spend most of their summers in the western United States and Canada. Their travels in Yellowstone, Glacier and Denali National Parks, as well as the Yukon Territory, British Columbia and Alberta in Canada have provided a wealth of wild wildlife in their natural habitat and scenic vistas that are awe inspiring.
Barbara’s work includes many of the animal photos which require keen skills and a knack for close-up shots with a long lens. Gail finds treasured glimpses of a vibrant autumn leaf, a glistening frog, a momentary wildflower. On the other end of the nature spectrum are spectacular wide open mountain scenes and sunsets. The majestic bear, foraging for food, napping in the leaves or herding its cubs, is also a favorite subject for both intrepid photographers.
Frame prints are available for purchase during the exhibit. Inquire at the circulation desk for assistance. A portion of the purchase price will be donated to the Friends of the Bethlehem Library.
